Mu Sigma Rho
Mu Sigma Rho (µσρ) is the US national statistics honor society. It seeks to promote and encourage scholarly activity in statistics and to recognize outstanding achievement among students and faculty in eligible academic and nonacademic institutions.
It aims to do the following:

Electing members according to their academic achievement, especially in the field of statistics.

Engaging in activities designed to promote the statistical and general scholarly development of its members.

Encouraging participation in the various professional statistical societies and associations. We are always looking for leaders and planning activities.
Some of the activities we have participated in or are considering include:

Creation of a Statistics Monopoly game

Working with Highlander Athletics analyzing statistics

Pet Food & Supply Drive, partnered with Canyon Crest Animal Hospital

Free statistics tutoring for UCR undergraduate students

Participation in UCR Discover Day, Teach for America, and Tree Planting
Your membership in Mu Sigma Rho includes a membership certificate, a Mu Sigma Rho pin, a complimentary 1 year student membership in the ASA, and cords for graduation.
